The event is part of the Narrating Rap/Narrating Law symposium on the use of rap lyrics as evidence in criminal trials, focusing on research and advocacy by University of Georgia professor Andrea Dennis and University of Richmond professor Erik Nielson, co-authors of “Rap on Trial: Race, Lyrics, and Guilt in America.”
