Amy Wharton joined the law library in 2008 and became director in 2018. She holds a master's in library and information studies from the University of Oklahoma, where she was elected to the Beta Phi Mu honor society. Previously Wharton was a librarian in the Washington, D.C. office of Winston & Strawn. Wharton has practiced law in Virginia and the District of Columbia and is an associate member of the Virginia State Bar. She is a past president of the Virginia Association of Law Libraries. Wharton teaches Advanced Legal Research.
