Ben Sachs

Ben Sachs is an expert in management and strategic communication and president of The Landing Group, a professional services company providing strategic communication tools, resources and training for clients across government agencies, law firms and large companies. He specializes in management, communication, negotiations and other practical skills topics for legal and business professionals.
Sachs' professional career spans law and business, first serving as a litigator at Sidley Austin and then as a strategic management consultant at the Boston Consulting Group before moving to Storyblocks, a stock media distribution company repeatedly named among the fastest-growing companies by Inc. magazine. At Storyblocks, Sachs now serves as general counsel and senior vice president of operations.
Sachs earned his B.A. as an Echols Scholar and Jefferson Scholar at the University of Virginia and his J.D. from the University of Virginia School of Law, where he graduated Order of the Coif and a member of the Virginia Law Review. After law school, he served as a law clerk for Judge. T.S. Ellis III in the U.S. District Court for the Eastern District of Virginia in Alexandria. Sachs is a former mock trial national champion and mock trial coach, winning the W.W. Reynoldson Award for outstanding coaching in 2008. He currently lives outside Washington, D.C.
