James Dawson

James Dawson is a senior associate at Vinson and Elkins, where his practice focuses on critical motions and appeals. Dawson has been the principal author of briefs and motions in a wide range of disputes, including matters related to the energy industry, state and federal administrative law, constitutional law, civil procedure and statutory interpretation.
Dawson co-teaches the Supreme Court Litigation Clinic at the Law School.
