Josh Mauldin is the director of licensing in the University of Virginia Licensing & Ventures Group, the technology transfer office responsible for managing the intellectual property holdings arising out of UVA research. Mauldin is a Ph.D.-trained intellectual property and licensing professional with a decade of experience partnering with faculty, entrepreneurs and investors to bring world-changing ideas from the University into the marketplace. In addition to overseeing the activities of the licensing team, Mauldin also manages a large portfolio of inventions, primarily in the life sciences.
