John Martin, a partner at Hunton & Williams, has tried more than 20 cases, including four trials lasting one month or longer. He is a former trial lawyer with the FTC and Department of Justice and university antitrust professor in the United States and Europe. In addition to his ongoing civil litigation practice, he appears in court regularly on a wide range of criminal matters, including complex white collar fraud and taxation cases. In his pro bono practice, he represents indigent criminal defendants and victims of parental kidnapping. He is a former law clerk on the United States Court of Appeals for the First Circuit and recipient of a Fulbright Grant from the U.S. Department of State.
