Mike Lincoln

Mike Lincoln is vice chairman of Cooley LLP and the firm’s former business department chair. As vice chairman, Lincoln directs lateral recruiting, new offices and overall firm strategy. His practice has represented leading venture capital firms, angel investors, investment banking companies, and other technology and emerging growth companies. Lincoln specializes in public and private offerings as well as mergers and acquisitions.
A graduate of Southeast Missouri State University and the University of Virginia School of Law, Lincoln was on the managing board of the Virginia Law Review and a member of the Raven Society and Omicron Delta Kappa. He clerked from 1991-92 for Judge Joel Flaum, Seventh Circuit Court of Appeals, Chicago. Before joining Cooley, he also worked as a partner with Hunton & Williams and an associate with Latham & Watkins.
