
Lori Alvino McGill, an instructor for the Appellate Litigation Clinic, has more than 20 years of experience as an appellate and Supreme Court practitioner. After clerking on the D.C. Circuit for Judge Douglas H. Ginsburg, she spent a year in the Office of the Solicitor General as a Bristow Fellow, and then clerked on the U.S. Supreme Court for Justice Ruth Bader Ginsburg. She then spent more than a dozen years in private practice, briefing and arguing appeals in federal and state courts. Most recently, she was the head of appellate and amicus strategy for Apple.
