Paul Devamithran represents clients in a variety of international trade matters, such as antidumping and countervailing duty proceedings. He has worked with clients in a range of industries, including U.S. steel manufacturers and U.S renewable energy companies.

While a student at the Law School, Devamithran was a research assistant to Professors Mila Versteeg and Paul Mahoney. He was also a Cowan Fellow who took part in the Human Rights Study Project in Nepal.

Prior to law school, he worked in the law chambers of M.A. Sumanthiran, in the Parliament of Sri Lanka. He co-teaches the short course Persuasion at the Law School.
