Lin Weeks
- Lecturer
Lin Weeks is a staff attorney with the Reporters Committee for Freedom of the Press. His work with RCFP includes litigating public records, court access and civil rights cases, authoring amicus briefs, vetting documentaries and long-form investigative journalism, and advising on policy.
Prior to joining the Reporters Committee, Weeks was an associate in the New York office of Holland and Knight, with a practice focusing on intellectual property litigation and media law. He holds a B.A. in economics from the University of Wisconsin-Madison and a J.D. from New York University School of Law, where he was the senior notes editor for NYU’s Journal of Intellectual Property and Entertainment Law. Weeks co-teaches the First Amendment Clinic at the Law School.
