
Jasmeet Gulati is a professor of law at Jindal Global Law School of the O.P. Jindal Global University in Sonipat, India. She is the vice dean for examinations and executive director of the Centre for International Legal Studies. Gulati is also a recognized teacher and online instructor for the LL.M. degree with the University of Liverpool in association with Laureate Online Higher Education, and has taught the Patent Law module at the University of Liverpool. Gulati had taught at the University Institute of Legal Studies, Panjab University (India) and at the Army Institute of Law, Mohali (India). She also served as assistant registrar (research) on deputation from Panjab University, in the Supreme Court of India at its Centre for Research and Planning.
Gulati has been teaching since 2000, including Public International Law, Intellectual Property Laws and International Criminal Law to undergraduate law students; and Law and Justice in a Globalizing World to postgraduate law students. She also teaches elective courses on Human Rights and Emerging Technologies, International Settlement of Disputes, and International Human Rights and Humanitarian Law. She holds a Ph.D. in international criminal law from Panjab University (India) and LL.M. in public international law from the University of Cambridge. Her other qualifications include an M.A. in public administration and LL.B. from Panjab University, B.A. with honors in English, and a PG diploma from the Cyber Laws and Management Development Program of the Indian Institute of Management in Ahmadabad. She was a Nehru Scholar at the University of Cambridge and was awarded a Cambridge Commonwealth Scholarship by the Cambridge Commonwealth Trust in 1999. She has published two books and a number of articles in national and international journals.
Gulati is a fellow of the Cambridge Commonwealth Society and has been an honorary fellow of the University of Liverpool.
