Kristyn Judkins

Kristyn Judkins was an associate in Baker McKenzie’s Washington, D.C., office for six years. She was a member of the firm’s tax group, and her practice focused on resolving tax disputes administratively with the IRS and in litigation. She also advised clients on the rulemaking process for treasury regulations, accounting methods and the research credit. Before joining the Office of Career Services, Judkins practiced energy law at the Southern Environmental Law Center, where she contributed to Virginia’s clean energy transition. Throughout her career, Judkins participated in summer associate recruiting and mentored a broad range of attorneys.
Judkins received a B.B.A. in accounting from the University of Miami, a J.D. from the University of Virginia School of Law, and an LL.M. in environmental, natural resources and energy law from Lewis & Clark Law School. While a student at UVA Law, she was editor-in-chief of the Virginia Tax Review and a fellow for the first-year Legal Research and Writing Program. She was also honored with the Rosenbloom Award.
