Lauren K. Ventre

Lauren Ventre is director of career services.
Prior to joining the Career Services team as associate director of career services in 2014, Ventre worked at the Pension Benefit Guaranty Corporation in Washington, D.C., and, more recently, in the undergraduate University Career Services office. At University Career Services, she managed the on-Grounds interviewing program, which involved coordinating the logistics of more than 6,500 interviews annually for more than 3,000 students and recruiters. She also worked with a team that was responsible for maintaining existing and developing new relationships with employers interested in recruiting University students.
Ventre is a member of the Virginia State Bar and a 2012 graduate of the Law School, where she served on the editorial board of the Virginia Law Review and was elected to the Order of the Coif. She also received a Bachelor of Arts in psychology from the University of Virginia in 2008.
