Rosanne D. Ibanez

Rosanne DeGuzman Ibanez is the director of admissions at the University of Virginia School of Law. Before joining the Admissions Office, she was the associate director of admissions, recruitment and outreach at the University of Richmond School of Law.
Before her career in law school admissions, Ibanez served as an attorney magistrate for the Commonwealth of Virginia. During her tenure, she became certified in court management and crisis intervention, presented educational programming to police academies and public schools, and was a two-time recipient of research grants from the Department of Criminal Justice Services and the Office of Violence Against Women. She clerked for Chief Judge Marla Graff Decker of the Virginia Court of Appeals.
Ibanez earned her B.A. in psychology and sociology at the University of Virginia and her J.D. from the University of Richmond. During law school, Ibanez served as the student manager of the Carrico Center for Pro Bono and Public Service, an executive board member of the Asian Pacific American Law Student Association, and a law student ambassador.
