Charles F.C. Ruff Fellowship

The Charles F.C. Ruff Fellowship is awarded each winter to a member of the most recent graduating J.D. class. The Ruff Fellow serves as an attorney at the Office of the Attorney General for the District of Columbia in a one-year position. Funding for the Ruff Fellowship comes from the Office of the Attorney General for the District of Columbia and the University of Virginia School of Law. Applications for the fellowship will be solicited in the fall/winter of each year by the Mortimer Caplin Public Service Center.
