Student Loan Exit Counseling

The U.S. Department of Education requires that all student loan borrowers complete exit counseling. This mandatory in-person group exit counseling for 3Ls will include important information: contacting a servicer, loan repayment options, loan deferment, forbearance and consolidation, debt management strategies and tax benefits, Income-Driven Repayment, Federal Public Service Loan Forgiveness and the Virginia Loan Forgiveness Program.
