A Lawyer’s Role in the Tech World
A panel moderated by UVA Law professor and LawTech Center director Danielle Citron will bring together diverse perspectives on how lawyers can provide value and solve problems in a world where rapidly developing technologies have legal and societal implications. Panelists include Kelli Andrews, senior director, Cybersecurity and Lawful Access Policy, Microsoft; Lydia X.Z. Brown, policy counsel, Privacy and Data Project, Center for Democracy & Technology; Mona Sedky, senior trial attorney, Criminal Division’s Computer Crime and Intellectual Property Section, U.S. Department of Justice; and Chinmayi Sharma '19, associate, Harris, Wiltshire & Grannis; Scholar in Residence and Lecturer, Strauss Center, University of Texas at Austin.
