Join the Virginia Center for Tax Law for a discussion with Professor Ruth Mason, and tax attorneys Peter Barnes, Isaac Wood ’14 and Amanda Leon ’17 on the present-day and future of the international tax system, including topics regarding double taxation and tax avoidance. Barnes spent over 22 years as senior international tax counsel to General Electric and currently works as counsel at Caplin & Drysdale and as global president of the International Fiscal Association. Leon works as an associate at Caplin & Drysdale, where she focuses her practice on private clients, international tax and tax-controversies work. Wood is an attorney in the Treasury Department’s Office for Tax Policy. Food will be provided.
