What Now: A Breakdown of Our Post-Dobbs World
A panel will discuss the reproductive landscape in Virginia following Dobbs v. Jackson Women’s Health Organization and how young lawyers can become more involved in the reproductive justice movement. Speakers include Mary Bauer ’90, executive director of the ACLU of Virginia; Tannis Fuller, executive director of the Blue Ridge Abortion Fund; Steve Descano, Fairfax County commonwealth’s attorney; and Professor Vivian Hamilton, director of the Center for Racial & Social Justice at William & Mary Law School. UVA Law professor Naomi Cahn will moderate. UVA Law professor Anne Coughlin will give introductory remarks. Food will be provided.
