Harvard Medical School professor Eric Drogin and Amber Vernon of the Richmond Behavioral Health Authority will present a one-day program on evaluation of capacity. The event will provide a broad overview of decision-making capacity with in-depth discussion focused on applications related to assessment in civil, forensic and community-based mental health settings. This workshop will enable participants to understand, obtain and conduct evaluations of a range of civil competencies, including those relevant to guardianship, conservatorship, testamentary and testimonial capacity, and consent to treatment.
