Symplicity for Employers

We use Symplicity to manage student and alumni job postings and our On-Grounds Interview and Resume Collection programs. To access Symplicity, go to Symplicity and enter your user name and password. If you do not have a password, please click the “Forgot my Password” tab, and one will be emailed to you. If you are not registered through our system, please click on the “Registration” tab and complete the requested information.

Job posting requests can be submitted through Symplicity. You may also contact our office at @email or (434) 924-7349. To expedite your request, please provide the following information:

  • A brief description of the position (and the employer, if desired);
  • desired class level (e.g., 1L, 2L, 3L or alumni);
  • required documents (e.g., resume, transcript, cover letter, writing sample);
  • posting deadline (if not provided, posting will expire in 45 days);
  • recruiting contact; and
  • collection method (materials can accumulate in the system until the deadline or be sent on a rolling basis; alternatively, you can direct applicants to your online portal or to email a recruiting contact directly).
