Charles F.C. Ruff Fellowship

The Charles F.C. Ruff Fellowship is awarded each winter to a member of the most recent graduating J.D. class. The Ruff Fellow serves as an attorney at the Office of the Attorney General for the District of Columbia in a one-year position. Funding for the Ruff Fellowship comes from the Office of the Attorney General for the District of Columbia and the University of Virginia School of Law. Applications for the 2026-2027 cycle will be due by January 31, 2025 and can be submitted online, here. Candidates for the Ruff Fellowship should also inform the Public Service Center ([email protected]) of their intent to apply.
