Law Alumni Weekend FAQs

How do I register?

Visit your class page (see Reunions) and click "register now." Register by March 31 to get the best price on an all-access pass! Prices increase on April 1.

Where can I find accommodations?

Visit our Hotels page to find hotel blocks. If your class has a recommended hotel, it will be listed on your class page. Due to the high demand for lodging in Charlottesville, we encourage alumni to book accommodations as soon as possible.

How much does Law Alumni Weekend cost?

Law Alumni Weekend is subsidized by the Law School Foundation to make it easier for you and your guests to attend. Registration fees cover a portion of event-related costs and are not counted as donations to the Law School or Law School Foundation. If you are celebrating a milestone reunion, registration fees follow:

  • EARLY-BIRD All-Access Pass (Includes all events taking place Friday, May 10 - Sunday, May 12): $250*
  • Friday Pass (Includes all events taking place Friday, May 10): $100
  • Saturday Pass (Includes all events taking place Saturday, May 11): $175

All alumni, regardless of class year, are encouraged to attend our general Law Alumni Weekend events. Events with a cost associated will be added to your online registration a la carte. To register for general events, please click here.

*Early-bird pricing extends through March 31. Pricing for the All-Access Pass increases to $275 after April 1.

What should I wear?

Visit your class page (see Reunions) and refer to the “Recommended Attire” section. Attire for some class dinners vary. Consider bringing clothes for chilly, warm, and rainy weather. For real time weather updates, check the WeatherSTEM station at the park at North Grounds.

Can I exercise at the UVA gyms while I’m in Charlottesville?

Yes! Access to North Grounds Recreation Center is provided as part of your Law Alumni Weekend registration. Show your nametag at NGRC to receive a guest pass. Call 434-924-PLAY or visit www.virginia.edu/ims for more information.
