Trump Just Made Life Harder for Business—And All of Us

Abstract

Last week the Trump administration took action to repeal the Clean Power Plan, which had been the Obama administration’s signature program for reducing carbon pollution linked to climate change-related impacts such as more destructive hurricanes and longer wildfire seasons. For Virginians eager to build a diverse and resilient energy industry here at home, Trump’s action is a blind leap in the wrong direction.
