Danny Zemel is an associate attorney at the Krudys Law Firm, a civil rights firm in Richmond. At the firm, Zemel handles cases involving federal civil rights claims, focusing primarily on police abuses and the rights of incarcerated people. He also is in charge of the firm’s appellate practice, doing both civil and pro bono criminal appeals in the Virginia Courts of Appeal as well as civil appeals in the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Fourth Circuit. Zemel chairs the Civil Rights Section of the Virginia Trial Lawyers Association and is a coach for the Moot Court Team at the University of Richmond School of Law. He is a graduate of the University of Pittsburgh and the University of Richmond School of Law.
Zemel teaches the Civil Rights Clinic at the Law School.
