Tuesday, March 28, 2017 12:00 - Tuesday, March 28, 2017 13:00

As part of the Faculty Ideas in Progress series, Professor Aditya Bamzai will discuss his work studying the interpretation of the Appellate Jurisdiction Clause laid out in Marbury v. Madison. Bamzai's recent article provides the first modern scholarly examination of the Appellate Jurisdiction Clause, which Marbury argued placed a strict limit on the Supreme Court's ability adjudicate original cases, resulting in major ramifications for the American legal system as a whole. Lunch will be provided to those who RSVP.
