Affective Polarization, Populism, and Inequality in the United States
This conference draws together a mix of scholars and practitioners to discuss the pressing issues confronting liberal democracy in the United States today. The conference will focus specifically on three issues: affective polarization, populism and inequality in voter participation. Each issue will be the subject of an hourlong panel discussion drawing from panelists’ expertise.
