Jason Wu Trujillo ’01

Jason Wu Trujillo joined the Law School Foundation in June 2011 after serving in the Law School’s administration in several leadership positions since 2003.

He first joined the Law School as director of public service, a role in which he helped students find employment in the public sector and managed the judicial clerkship program and the Virginia Loan Forgiveness Program. In 2004 he became director of admissions and in 2007 he became an assistant dean in the Dean’s Office. In July 2008 he was named senior assistant dean for admissions and financial aid. During his tenure as head of the Office of Admissions, the Law School set new records in the academic qualifications of the entering class and for diversity.

As a student at the Law School, he was president of the Public Interest Law Association and co-founder and co-president of Voz Latina (now known as the Latin American Law Organization). He also was elected to the Raven Society.

After graduating from the Law School in 2001, Trujillo was appointed an assistant Bergen County prosecutor, serving first in the Appellate Section and then in the Domestic Violence Trial Unit.
