Course Description

This class will illustrate for students how law firms are managed in the face of increasingly intense competition for clients and talent. The class will act as the management committee of a law firm and engage in strategic decision-making informed by traditional measures of law firm results and the culture of the firm we create.

Written Work Product

Students will be required to submit two papers, each 3-4 pages in length, directly to the instructor (not via EXPO). The deadline for the papers will be announced by the Professor during the course.

Prerequisites: This course is designed for JD program students who have worked (or will work) for large law firms, but LLMs may take the course with permission from the instructor. Concurrencies: None
