Arthur D. Robinson

Art Robinson is the global head of capital markets of Simpson Thacher & Bartlett LLP, with particular expertise in leveraged finance, initial public offerings, restructuring and corporate governance. He currently serves on the Firm's Executive Committee and Women's Committee, and has served at various times on the Firm’s New Partners, Finance, Opinion and Real Estate Committees, as well as leading the firm’s Business Development Committee for five years.
Robinson is a graduate of the University of Virginia School of Law, Class of 1988. He was managing editor of the Virginia Law Review, recipient of the Margaret G. Hyde Award for excellence and Order of the Coif. Robinson is a graduate of the Wharton School, Class of 1983, summa cum laude. He earned his CPA and worked for Ernst & Young for two years prior to law school.
