Join UVA Law's American Constitution Society, Women of Color and Black Law Students Association to discuss the historical context and contemporary significance of Christine Blasey Ford's allegations against Supreme Court nominee Brett Kavanaugh. Professor Anne Coughlin will address parallels to Anita Hill's allegations against Justice Thomas and what we can learn from the response to Hill's testimony during the Thomas confirmation hearings. Professor Kim Ferzan will discuss  the importance of Dr. Blasey's allegations in assessing Judge Kavanaugh's fitness and what factors and biases might impact that analysis.
