
Kimberly Reed is a managing member at Reed International Law & Consulting, a boutique firm that advises domestic and international clients on complex corporate transactions and nonprofit law. She has over 30 years of experience in global business and commercial law, with a focus on mergers, acquisitions, joint ventures, venture capital, private equity, governance, compliance and infrastructure projects. She also has expertise in nonprofit law and management, having been a professor of nonprofit law and management and assistant dean at the University of North Carolina School of Law.
Reed has worked with clients and transactions in over 75 countries around the world, representing U.S.-based and foreign companies and nonprofits in various industries and sectors. She has been involved in numerous multibillion dollar deals and has negotiated and drafted contracts with foreign legal counsel. She has also held senior positions for several Democratic Party candidates, including Barack Obama and Joe Biden, and has been recognized as a SuperLawyer and a Legal Elite Award winner for her excellence in global corporate transactions law. She speaks French, Russian and Polish.
