Majesta-Doré Legnini works as a staff attorney in the Health Justice and Public Benefits Program at the Legal Aid Justice Center. She operates LAJC’s Medical-Legal Partnership with the VCU Health System and teaches in UVA Law’s Health and Disability Law Clinic. Majesta-Doré graduated from Virginia Commonwealth University with a B.S. in health sciences and a B.A. in political science in 2019, then obtained her J.D. from William & Mary Law School in 2022. In law school, she served as the editor-in-chief of the Journal of Race, Gender, and Social Justice, and earned awards in health law and from the National Association of Women Lawyers.
