The Law School building is open to visitors Monday through Friday from 7 a.m. to 6 p.m., except when the school is closed for holidays or other reasons. Visitors must enter the Law School through the Clay Hall main entrance and register at the Visitor Desk. All other entrances require badge access to enter.

Visitor Registration
Visitors must enter the Law School through the Clay Hall main entrance, and show either University ID (for current UVA students and employees) or government ID (for visitors who are not current UVA students or employees). A kiosk at the desk allows visitors to register to park as well. The Visitor Desk is open Monday-Friday, 7 a.m.-6 p.m. Absent an approved exception, visitors who are not current UVA students or employees are not allowed to be in the Law School building while the Visitor Desk is closed.
Getting to the Law School
The University of Virginia School of Law is located on UVA’s North Grounds at 580 Massie Road, Charlottesville 22903-1738. (Note that some online maps direct visitors to the back of the Law School, but visitors should park in the front lot where visitor parking is marked.)

Law Library Tours
Law library tours are available to classes and other student groups, including those outside the Law School who need access to legal materials. Librarians can provide general orientation tours or explain specialized areas of the collection. Contact the Circulation Desk (434-924-3384 or @email) to arrange a tour of the library.
