Members of the public who are representing themselves in their own legal matters may visit a library seeking legal information. Therefore, the Virginia Association of Law Libraries (VALL) Access to Justice Committee created the Guide to Virginia Legal Information Resources. The Guide is a resource for librarians who manage collections of self-help legal resources as well as members of the public who seek legal information. The VALL Access to Justice Committee curated a list of resources that focus on everyday legal information needs such as contesting a traffic ticket, renting a dwelling, and handling consumer issues.
